Thursday 22nd Oct Australia’s nature cast a spell on me when I was fortunate enough to travel Australia for 3 months in 1999 for the first time. I just fell in love with the Bush and spending most of the 3 months in the outback will always be a vivid memory. The variety of plants and animals that live under these harsh conditions is unbelievable. And discovering a new dragon in Finke George national park that hadn’t been found in the park before or seeing the desert come alive after the first rain in fifty years, was just amazing. A country of extremes that’s worthwhile protecting!! Share
