I’m steppin' for the species!
When I moved to Australia the first questions I got were about the animals.
Have you seen a koala? A wallaby? Are Tasmanian devils real? What the hell is a quokka and why are they so cute!?
These magnificent animals are emblematic of Australia and sadly they're all endangered. Without intervention, koalas will go extinct in NSW in the next 30 years.
In last summer's fires, we lost more than 1 billion animals and more than 18 million hectares of their habitat.
That's why I’m walking doing the Groundwork Challenge and walking 100KM this month to protect Australia's native species and their precious habitats.
I'm hoping to raise $550 to help fund the work on the ground that restores their habitat to make sure they don't go extinct.
